The Mutter Museum in Philadelphia Was originally opened in the 1900s for medical students to come and see in person ;extremely rare conditions, and the effects of diseases that had been cured or eradicated. It still stands today as the best place for medical students to get " hands on" experience . As well as a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike.I WILL go here on day. #Halloween #Victorian #Skulls #MutterMuseum

The Ossuary Church of St Martin originally belonged to the Count Tracagni, who lived in a house and farm alongside the La Torre, was inaugurated on 24 June 1870. The church contains skulls and bones belonging to soldiers of all nationalities who died on the field of battle and are displayed in cases and racks behind the altar. Taken by Paul Koudounaris for his book, "The Empire of Death: A Cultural History of Ossuaries and Charnel Houses"
