HOW TO: Recycle crayons, via Flickr. (Google Shopping search for "silicone heart shaped baking pan")

All you need is: a foam wreath (found mine at the $1 store) scrap material (i used pinking shears to avoid fray) a hot glue gun, boxes of crayons (also from the $1 store) Adhere the scrap material around the wreath with hot glue. Glue crayons to back side (flat side) of wreath. Make simple scrap material flowers. All-in-all this project took me about 20 minutes and cost less than $5

Different way of doing melted crayon art: Place crayons in a pattern or 'drawing' and then melt for more interesting shapes instead of the usual drip * need to do this with the kids *

Great craft project for the kids, and then could glue a magnet to the back and send as gifts for the grandparents :)

Cute idea for Teacher Appreciation Day (or end of the schoolyear gift): paint a small terracotta pot with chalkboard paint, and include a nice note and seed packet. Great idea from Leo on the Loose. [via]

Crayon Art- Ok I attempted crayon art this past weekend. the blow dryer was not fabulous, but it could have been the dryer only worked on low. however, I took a woodburning tool, held it to the end of the crayon, and perfect drips were accomplished.
