Torre de Mérida, Mexico -| Flickr - Photo Sharing! Sobre el palacio municipal de Mérida, que data de 1735, se erigió esta torre en 1935 como parte de su última remodelación a cargo del Arqto. Carlos M. Castillo Montes de Oca, en ella además del reloj de la ciudad se encuentra su escudo de armas otorgado por Felipe III de la corona española en 1618 a la ciudad "en premio a su fidelidad y buenos servicios".
