DIY Peddle Mat. Pebble mats can be made into table runners, place mats, trivets, doormats, etc. The possibilities are endless. Step-by-step instructions. If a pebble comes loose (which will happen occasionally) just hot glue it back in place.

The materials used for one stepping stone breaks down to about $1.50! You use shelf liner (Wal-Mart, $3.00); hot glue; river rocks (from dollar store). Cut out rectangle of liner. Lay out pattern. Glue in place. Glue in background rocks. Trim liner. Voila! Can be used as stepping stone in garden!
