Chocolate Guinness Cake - A Nigella recipe. I made this for my boyfriend's 30th and it went over very well! Note- Remember, the ale will expand when cooking so make sure you use the right size pan!! Also, this cake tastes quite dense and doesn't need icing at all. I made the cream cheese icing but next time I think I'd leave it off. This is a yummy, unique cake!
Good Ol' Homemade Brownies This are absolutely wonderful. I didn't notice until after I started them that it uses a 9x13 pan, so it also makes a lot more than lots of recipes I've used. They are thick and gooey and make the best brownie a la mode.
