The Tiny Tack House is capable of operating completely off-grid, but can also be plugged into the grid. Living small requires a highly strategic use of space, and creative storage is paramount. Other than the bed loft, the open floor-to-ceiling creates the impression of space.
EDGE, or Experimental Dwelling for a Greener Environment, designed by a small Stevens Point, WI firm, Revelations Architects. The abode is so bitty, in fact, that it doesn't qualify as an actual house in much of Wisconsin, where 750 or 800 square feet of floor space is required. Set on a bluff on the northernmost tip of the state, overlooking Chequamegon Bay on Lake Superior. (Photo 2 of 2...shows the interior!) AWESOME!!!
