Apple Taste Test Chart. I made this chart and gave each child an apple to color to show their favorite apple. Then we made a graph!

I saw this the other day on pinterest and loved it! My kiddos had a lot of fun and learned to say (in a complete sentence) "I am taller/shorter than__" Great for ELL's.

The students will be taken on a field trip to go apple picking. They will collect apples and bring them to class. They will divide their apples by color and create this graph to help them count visually the amount of each color apple. 3.MD.3 Draw a scaled picture graph and a scaled bar graph to represent a data set with several categories.

Gingerbread Man math graph- cute I do a variation with a Christmas tree that my scholars decorate with different foam shapes- this is cute too when reading the gingerbread man :-)
