Jay Fletcher: Amazing illustrations and other design works

i really like the style and aesthetics of this poster, from the choice in colors to the tracking of the type. the space between the letters suggests room for adventure. there is a lot of detail, but it isn't overworked. the color palette is limited, but shows depth. the very subtle map that the main graphic is placed over is a fantastic touch.

This is a good example of how to use black space in posters or atworks, and the random spots of colour make the poster very eye catching. this poster stands out to me because of the image of the tree coming down from the top of it and the type that blends in to the image.

Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?

I like the idea of laying it over pictures in white to change up my banner or for graphics.
