    The Earle Hotel stood at 145 Michigan Street NW until it's demolition in the early 1960s during urban renewal. The hotel, on the northeast corner of Michigan Street and Monroe Avenue, was razed to make way for the former Grand Rapids Press headquarters at 155 Michigan Street NW.
