I was asked to create a cake for a local bridal magazine. They wanted something soft and hard. So I started with two tiers that I covered in gray fondant. I used Chefmaster silver spray to achieve the metallic finish. I did about three coats on each tier. Then I hand cut turquoise fondant circles and folded them in half to create the petals. I made the flower out of coral fondant, with a rhinestone center.
