Homemade powder laundry soap, I actually am making this today, found the borax, washing soda, and Fels Naptha bar soap all at Walmart in a row. Mixed up in food processor, and easy homemade powdered detergent. Cost was about $8 total, should do 2-3x the amount of my regular liquid detergent for half the cost.

There are also many other benefits of homemade products aside from cost savings. SIMPLE INGREDIENTS I purchased all these ingredients at my local grocery store: 1 – 55 ounce box of Arm & Hammer® Super Washing Soda = $3.99 1 – 76 ounce box of 20 Mule Team® Borax = $4.99 1 – 10 pack of 4.5 ounce bars of Ivory® Bar Soap (**note** you can use cheaper soap, I actually had this on hand already.
