peaceful-moon: laughing-trees: In this African tribe, when someone does something harmful, they take the person to the center of the village where the whole tribe comes and surrounds them. For two days, they will say to the man all the good things that he has done. The tribe believes that each human being comes into the world as a good. Each one of us only desiring safety, love, peace and happiness. But sometimes, in the pursuit of these things, people make mistakes. The community sees those mistakes as a cry for help. They unite then to lift him, to reconnect him with his true nature, to remind him who he really is, until he fully remembers the truth of which he had been temporarily disconnected: “I am good.” Shikoba Nabajyotisaikia! NABAJYOTISAIKIA, is a compliment used in South Africa and means: “I respect you, I cherish you. You matter to me.” In response, people say SHIKOBA, which is: “So, I exist for you.” :’)))))) WHY ISN’T THIS A THING IN ALL CULTURES
The Babemba tribe of Africa believes that each human being comes into the world as good. Each one of us only desiring safety, love, peace and happiness. But sometimes, in the pursuit of these things, people make mistakes. When a person acts irresponsibly or unjustly, he/she is placed in the center of the village, alone, unfettered. All work ceases. All gather around the accused individual. Then each person of every age, begins to talk out loud to the accused. One at a time, each person tells all the good things the one in the center ever did in his/her lifetime. Every incident, every experience that can be recalled with any detail and accuracy, is recounted. All positive attributes, good deeds, strengths, and kindnesses are recited carefully and at length. The tribal ceremony often lasts several days, not ceasing until everyone is drained of every positive comment that can be mustered. At the end, the tribal circle is broken, a joyous celebration takes place, and the person is symbolically and literally welcomed back into the tribe. Necessity for such ceremonies is rare! This story is originally from the book, Contact, The First Four Minutes by Leonard Sunin. The Babemba or Bemba people make their home in an area of Africa that includes Zambia and the Congo. Here's an ad about R--skins that its makers don't have the money to show during Sunday's Superbowl: That wonderful video, "Proud to Be," was released by the National Congress of American Indians just in time for the Super Bowl in its effort to eliminate the offensive R--skins from the national vocabulary and let people know that we Indians are not mascots. Team owner Dan Snyder has vowed never to change the name. He claims it actually shows respect and admiration for American Indians.

Traffic at the world’s craziest intersection: Meskel Square in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. According to Amusing Planet, “Meskel Square is one of the major hotspots for accidents in Addis Ababa.” We believe that.

Cody R. Wilson is a 25-year-old University of Texas law student who is working to build semiautomatic weapons using a 3D printer. This adds another issue to the gun control debate because these 3D printed guns are virtually undetectable and unlicensed. The short documentary is a little bit startling at times as he says that, "you can do this in your bedroom," but it gives another perspective to the current gun control climate and if anything opens our eyes to new possibilities.

Wilson formed Defense Distributed, an organization whose goal is to create a fully printable firearm.
A great and innovative discovery but will it be use publicly without any regulations? #3dprinting #3dprintedgun #innovation
