Wire Hanger Bird Feeders! You may have a few of these hangers lying around, possibly waiting for the summer bonfires to begin, but in the mean time, lets string some popcorn on them and shape them into a heart and lets show the birds some love!

"The best material for stringing cranberry or popcorn garlands is inside your medicine cabinet. Waxed floss is strong and slick, so cranberries and popcorn will slide on easily. Knot one end of a piece of floss, and thread a needle onto the other; just pierce through items, and slip them on." ~Martha Stewart

Under The Table and Dreaming: Use Cheerios to Make a Cool Hanging Bird Feeder Each year when the tree is done, we place it on the lawn and the grand kids come and we mix peanut utter and birdseed and put inside orange skins, (after we eat the oranges ;) and string berries and popcorn to feed our wildlife. This willl be a fun addition!

Craft homemade bird-feeders and watch the wildlife that come to feast! To make the simplest bird treat, tie a string to the tip of a pinecone. Slather it with peanut butter. Then roll the pinecone in birdseed or raw oats and hang it on a tree visible from your house.
