So many great St. Patrick's Day recipes here - definitely gonna make the rainbow bread and/or pudding pops with the kids and the Irish coffee sundaes for me and the hubs...gonna have to make the green velvet cupcakes too!
let the kids design the outside of their own cake! cover the buttercream Rainbow Cake with some white fondant, chill it overnight, and then draw using a pack of AmeriColor Food Colour Markers – a dream come true for an artsy and infinitely creative kid...This isn't necessarily a craft, but I didn't know what else to call it.
RAINBOW JELLO CUPS: 3 oz. box of each color jello (blue, yellow, and red), box of knox gelatin, and cups. Mix the blue jello with 1/2 an envelope of the knox gelatin. Pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve the gelatin. Add 1/2 cup of ice. Stir until thick. Remove any remaining ice cubes and any bubbles that may have formed. Pour into each cup, filling about 1/3 of the way. Let set in the refrigerator until firm. Repeat with the yellow and red jello.
