Hanging vegetable garden. I have a hanging basket like this and may try growing nasturtiums, violas, chamomile, and mint in it this year. That would free up some space in my very limited herb garden space!

Hanging Herb Garden perfect for an indoor starter in a sunny window. This is something I've been planning on doing for awhile. I even have the hanging basket and the moss. Just need the herbs.

Hanging Basket Herb Garden: Use a three-tiered metal mesh hanging kitchen basket, line it with a coco moss outdoor planting basket liner and trim with scissors to fit the mesh hanging baskets. Fill the lined baskets with soil and herbs, water, and that's it! What's neat about this project is that it's mobile. Hang outdoors for growth, and then bring inside and hang in a sunny kitchen window during the cooler months. | Dishfunctional Designs

DIY herb gardens. Cut the soda bottle or any plastic bottle with a cover. Turn upside down; attach to board. I'm thinking of leaving the cover to the bottle on; punch in a few holes to drain excess water, but not have the soil drain out also.
