Love this.... I used 5-4-3-2-1 with a fourth grade class last semester. There were too many students to do jumping jacks, so we shook out each hand then each foot. So, it was a 5-5-5-5, 4-4-4-4-, 3-3-3-3....you get the picture. They loved it, and it helped them get refocused. This "I'm done..." board is a great way to remind students of their choices once they have completed the current activity. By having this posted as a bulletin board or poster within the room, students would have a visual reminder of the acceptable options they have while awaiting transition to the next activity. This procedure would help maintain order as well as keep faster students busy.

Cool Bulletin Board idea to "spotlight" a student or famous person. I would do both. Maybe every week a different actor, playwright, designer, etc to research to extra credit or a weekly report, and every now and then a student, to make them feel special having been up on the same wall as a big name.
