Doily Candle Holder This simple project is made by soaking cloth doilies in sugar starch and then forming it around a balloon. One the starch dries, pop the balloon and you have a romantic tea light holder that can be used as part of your tablescape.

How To Convert Doily into Candle Holder

Using sugar starch, form doilies around a balloon. After it dries, pin prick balloon and remove and you have a doily bowl to hold tea lights. Would work great in different colours for a henna party!

all you need to do is blow up some balloons, get white yarn, dip the yarn in a mixture of corn starch, water and elmers glue. dip the yarn in the mixture and wrap it around the balloon. let it sit and dry and then pop the balloon...voila :)
