Removing Hard Water Stains

Vanilla Extract Microwave Cleaner = Clean the microwave and leave it smelling sweet with this household trick! Mix 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a microwave-safe container, and zap it on high for five minutes. When it's done, remove the container and wipe down the interior of the oven. Any gunk should slide right off. Guess what? It worked! Like a charm! And for the rest of the day my house smelled like warm vanilla! YUM!

Homemade "Shout" Stain Remover

Homemade Stain Remover (Shout) 2/3 cups Dawn Dishwashing Liquid (I had Palmolive on hand, so that’s what I used) 2/3 cups ammonia 6 Tblsp baking soda 2 cups warm water Mix everything together and pour into a spray bottle. I got this one at Wal-Mart for about a buck. Shake before use. “soak in” for a few minutes at least. Then launder as usual.
