    Homemade Slime! Clear Glue + Liquid Starch

    Colorful slime fun for kids.... 1 Part Elmers Clear School Glue 1 Part Liquid Starch food coloring Mix all three together until it starts to form a gel. Then move to a tray and continue to mix with your hands. Slime can be saved in a container or plastic bag for another use. :)

    In Australia, like many other countries, Borax is classified as a poison - does anyone know of an alternative for its use in recipes such as this?

    Didn't work. Just made clumps

    Use liquid starch if you don't have borax. Also, make sure you add the 1/2 c water in with the bottle of glue. If you don't it comes out rubbery and breaks apart.
