A simple and quick way to clean grill grates from your stove top or outdoor grill- Put the grills (or any item with baked-on grease that’s small enough) into a plastic bag. Pour a cup or so or ammonia. Close the bag tightly and let it sit overnight. The ammonia doesn’t have to cover the yucky parts. It’s the fumes that clean! Has anyone tried this? Does it work?
