    liquid hand body soap

DIY Body Wash - recipe calls for bar soap, glycerin and water but not Dove soap. Someone else used just Dove soap and 8 cups water with good results. I'm going to try that one since I already have the Dove bar soap.

DIY: Home made body wash-- Made 8/12 fairly successful...FYI using dove beauty bars turns out a very thin liquid. the best consistency was from the cheapy soaps I found at the dollar store. However, the Dove feels much nicer on the skin than the dollar store brand...what a conundrum! Will be experimenting with different brands in the future.

Homemade-liquid-hand-soap- Warning, You are going to love this! This is such a good idea! Loved This....

homemade soap...yes, I do know how to make it. Amazing what one can learn while living in a state that is seemingly empty. My years in Nebraska!

Homemade body wash. 1 bar of Castile soap.(can use other brands) Grate soap. Add to 12 cups water and simmer on stove until dissolved. Add 2 tbs glycerine. Take off heat and let sit for about 10 hours until thickens and cools. Can add 3 tsp of essential oils at this point if desired for fragrance. Makes about 3 qts. If adding essential oils, use aromatherapy, candle or food grade oils.

Turn a bar of soap into 2 liters of liquid hand soap. I do this all the time. Pinner said: Saves so much money.

body-wash I halved this recipe to give it a try. I made one batch with Dial soap for kids & one with Irish Spring. I found that the consistency of both batches were like that of egg white or as my daughter called it, snot. lol. It also doesn't lather like commercial body wash. If you're looking for clean & low in cost, then this may be for you. I wasn't thrilled, but may try it with a higher end soap to see if it is any creamier.
