Elf Art - watercolor painting for the torso, scraps of construction paper for other body parts, cut up old Christmas cards for presents, sharpie and oil pastel for details.

This is called a Swedish flame, AKA one-log fire. Make your cuts like you're cutting cake. Leave about 6 inches at the base. Throw some fuel oil in there (about a cap full) or just some kindling. Will burn up to 2-3 hours.

This makes me want to teach middle school; pastels on black paper.

    A great way to start a GCSE course. Create a graffiti wall that all students add to over the course. Also can be used for disruptive pupils and those who finish early.
