Shirley Plantation is located in Charles City, Virginia, which is between Richmond and Williamsburg. Established in 1613, Shirley Plantation is the oldest plantation in Virginia. The home and plantation has been operated by and lived in by 11 generations of the same family.

Richmond Dairy, VA --Dairy opened in 1913-has 3 giant "milk bottles" as part of the structure--in 1999 the building was turned into apartments but they kept the "bottles" --from the book "Weird Virginia--Roadside Oddities"
