Review: The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan

I loved this book so much I've read it multiple times.

Little fairy houses made from old fairy tale books, tucked into the shelves with the rest....oooh, what fun that could be! A combination of altered art books, miniatures, and fairy and gnome sculptures from polyclay, with natural elements to make house details....

Nancy Drew. I loved, loved, loved, (and still love now) these books as a kid.

This is an incredibly sad book. However, it is very interesting to get a glimpse into another culture where geishas did exist and provide a complex service for society.
