Love this, using geometric shapes as a part of a whole. Sometimes starting a drawing, either on paper or on the computer, of a big or complicated object can seem daunting, but when you break it up into the smaller, individual shapes that it is made up of it becomes easier to draw it piece by piece. Kornegay talked about this with our J464 class also, don't draw the entirety of what you see, draw piece by piece what is actually there.
