royal for flooding: mixing with the water will most likely cause many air bubbles in the icing, so it is always good to cover up the icing and let it “rest” for 30 min. Then give it a slow stir and you have reduced the amount of air bubbles in your icing.
I'll be returning to Barcelona this week teaching cookie decorating classes at El món dolç de Claudia! Orders for USB Drives with my cookie decorating video tutorials will be shipped during the week of December 15th. See you when I get back!
sugar cookie icing 1lb powdered sugar (about 3 3/4 C) 6T whole milk (low-fat actually works, but use whole if you can) 6T light Corn Syrup (6T is equal to 1/4 C plus another 2 T) 1 t extract (I use almond because I use almond in my sugar cookies) With a whisk, combine sugar and milk until smooth (no lumps!) Then stir in corn syrup and extract. | best stuff
Quote from Sweet and Saucey's Cupcake Ideas: "To make cupcakes that have impressions on the fondant you need to either purchase impression mats/molds or scrapbooking stamps." Then out with the cookie cutter. The possibilites are endless!

My second community cookie collection - with a Mother's Day theme - is now open on my site. Come see what other cookie decorators are crafting and share your work as well. No competition or prizes (visit my Community Cookie Contest Boards for that); just easy-going inspiration, learning, and fun, about once a month.
Cupcake cookies. These are way too cute to eat! So . . . I'm going to incorporate this design into one of the Magnifique magnet sets that I am making. They'll look way better on my fridge, than on my butt!!! lol
Basic Sugar Cookie Recipe--this is the best sugar cookie dough I have ever made. It is super easy to work with, and no need to refrigerate before rolling out. Cookies spread just a little bit while baking, but they still kept their shape and remained a little soft a day later. Definite win.
