Monet at Giverny in his dining room  decorated with his precious collection of Japanese woodblocks. Claude Monet kept supplementing his collection, which had 231 prints at the end of his life. He tastefully selected the Masters of 18th and 19th centuries. It was an eclectic collection (featuring 36 artists) focusing on the three majors, Hokusai, Hiroshige and Utamaro. (Much of his collection can still be seen there. rw)
