    Trying not to pin so many of these "tips and tricks" lists but this one includes some good tips I haven't seen elsewhere, including to iron baby powder onto new white shirts to prevent pit stains, using a second fitted sheet on the box spring rather than dealing with a bed skirt, etc. :)

    If you find that your white T-shirts accumulate yellow deodorant stains in the armpits, aspirin can fix those, too. Crush a few pills, mix them with some warm water, and soak the stains in the solution before washing—the aspirin will make the shirts look as good as new.

    Use a few tablespoons of cream of tartar with hot water or hydrogen peroxide and clean any aluminum pans which have discoloration or any rusty drains, pans, or stains. Mix some cream of tarter with lemon juice and rub the copper with it. Rinse and be amazed! How about a porcelain sink, tub, commode? Rub the porcelain surfaces with cream of tartar and watch the stains disappear. Fabric stains? No prob. Mix a few teaspoons of cream of tartar with some glycerin and use like spray-and-wash.

    Remove yellow underarm stains--Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Apply to stains, let soak for 30 minutes and wash like normal. This mix seems to overcome all evil!
