The beautiful arched entrance to a Palm Beach house designed by Lars Bolander... this would be a dream. I love the stone and the grass in between, beautiful!
A studio apartment: a huge soft bed in the middle like this with a HUGE painting, a tiny side stool/table for books, a standing lamp that resembles a mic stand (from Ikea alike), a large window on the adjacent wall, a couch at the window sill for friends. and a large white working table next to that window.
Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge. Home of Jim Ede, who was the curator of the Tate Museum during the 1920’s and 30’s. He developed an appreciation for white-washed walls and minimalistic furnishings during a stay in Morocco. The house and all its furnishings were donated to the University of Cambridge in 1966. The works of many artists, including Joan Miro and Henry Moore, can be seen in the home today.
