1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 cup Cake flour
2 tsp Clear vanilla extract
2 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
2 tbsp Food coloring, red
3/4 Granulated sugar
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract, pure

Oils & Vinegars

2/3 cup Vegetable oil
3/4 tsp White vinegar

Dairy

3 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Buttermilk
8 oz Cream cheese

    Red Velvet Dessert: Slice red velvet cupcakes horizontally to create 2-3 layers - depending on how thick you want your layers to be. Place 1 cake layer into the bottom of your jar, pipe a layer of cream cheese frosting directly onto the cake layer. Repeat the layering process until you reach the top of your jar. If desired, garnish with festive sprinkles or red velvet cake crumbs.
