Sea Turtle - Beautiful Shot! Loved seeing one of these swimming alongside while I snorkeled!

Every sea turtle has markings as distinct as fingerprints on their shells. In an attempt to save the turtles from slaughter, rescue groups are etching their shells with tools that 'ruin' them for collectors. YEA FOR THE TURTLES!

I used to own these sweet little guys when I was a kid and I absolutely loved them. They got too big and I had to release them into a local pond, but I enjoyed having them as pets. =)

How long did it take for them to get too big? Buying a baby soon but i really loovee bigger turtles

Please don't release these into local ponds. They are usually not native to your area and can affect the ecosystem. Instead, try to find them a new home through classified ads....
