Flag Favors – A goody bag of candies arranged to resemble the American flag. Start by partially filling a 2-by-10-inch cellophane bag with blue candies to stand in for stars. American flag on a vintage scale - I would love to have this or find a scale so I can do it myself.

Happy 4th of July everyone! Can't we just imagine older gentlemen sitting here, watching people go up & down the sidewalk & driving by. Talking about everything under the sun! I think every small town had this familiar site. God Bless America, all of her troops here and those serving overseas and all of her citizens! Amen

Decorating Tip: Simple and rustic is eye catching. At our house we drill a hole in the top of our old posts like this and place the flag on top. I love this. Dorothy
