Igloos are cool. What kid hasn't wanted to build an igloo? You can easily build an milk jug igloo in your classroom with some planning, lots of milk jugs and hot glue. This could be a fun winter craft for the kids when it's too cold to go out.

Build an igloo out of recycled milk jugs. I posted this under fun with learning, because what is not fun about a milk carton igloo and learning about recycling.

How to Build a Milk Jug Igloo

Igloos are cool. You can easily build an milk jug igloo in your classroom with some planning, lots of milk jugs and hot glue.

Ice Cream in a Bag  This is SOOO easy… and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put:  1/2 C. half and half (milk works too)  1 Tbps. sugar  1 tsp. vanilla  Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part!  Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream. I did this in elem school and have been looking every where for it!

Condensed milk painting, doesn't drip and shines when dry! I personally am looking past those first two and wondering why I never thought of using an ice cube tray for painting w/ the kids.

Keep them busy for hours! A block of ice with treasures frozen inside and a hammer. Great for hot summer days!
