My favorite album art ever made. Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson. The face is stunning and conveys panic and insanity with many curved lines.
King Crimson - In the Court of The Crimson King (1969) The album is generally viewed as one of the strongest in the progressive rock genre, where King Crimson largely stripped away the blues-based foundations of rock music and mixed together jazz and classical symphonic elements. Barry Godber (1946–1970), a computer programmer, painted the album cover. Godber died in February 1970 of a heart attack, shortly after the album's release. It was his only album cover and is now owned by Robert Fripp.

King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King*****: I do not believe that this is the first prog rock album. But it may be the first truly great pure prog rock album. Zappa's "Freak Out" as far as I'm concerned is the first prog album though it has other elements to it as well, but this is something altogether different. Here, we get all the progressive elements working together in a way that, in some ways, would define the 70s that were peering around the corner. And that album cover. 8/20/15

Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, Paradise by the dashboard light, you took the words right out of my mouth (hot summer night) Saw meatloaf in concert 8/2012, he still rocked it
Those who dismiss this undeniably popular album due to puerile lyrics (generally leveled at this album's sequel), over-the-top production, and Meat Loaf singing so passionately about such adolescent themes as a badly written farce totally miss the point. This is an album that pokes fun at all the rock and roll pretensions that had crept into rock music over the years (Townshend can you hear me?), and it succeeds wonderfully.
Bat out of Hell. Paradise by the Dashboard Light. Great Boleros of Fire , and the title track. For Crying out Loud. And what could be more kitschy and emblematic of the '70s than the ubiquitous "classic rock" (an overused adjective that applies all too well here) of "Two out of Three Ain't Bad" or the breathless nookie-quest, "Paradise by the Dashboard Light," replete with Phil Rizzuto calling the play-by-play? Tracks: 3 Heaven Can Wait, 2 You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth...
Shortly, after I graduated high school, I worked at a chain music store. Loved it. Well, as in most work environments, you were not suppose to take personal calls. So my friend would always call up there and ask whoever answered for the Meatloaf Christmas Album. As far as I know, one doesn't exist. So, whoever answered would inevitably come ask me (the resident music geek) to get on the phone with the "customer" and see if I could help her out. This went on for years . . . and nobody caught on! I still love "Paradise By The Dashboard Light".
Meat Loaf On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

MellonCollie - Smashing Pumpkins
Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness - The Smashing Pumpkins . . . The third album by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, released October 24, 1995. The twenty-eight-track album was released as a two-disc CD and triple LP. Led by the single "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", the record debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, the first and only such occurrence for the group. The album spawned five more singles—"1979", "Zero", "Tonight, Tonight", the promotional "Muzzle", and "Thirty-Three"—over the course of 1996, and has been certified nine times platinum by the RIAA. Praised by critics for its ambition and scope, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness earned the band seven Grammy Award nominations in 1997. It is also widely considered one of the best albums of the 1990s. Fantastic cover art and musical genius all in one.

June 7, 1975 - Elton John's ninth studio album 'Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboys', went to No.1 on the US album chart, the first album ever to enter the US chart at No.1. (where it stayed for seven weeks). Captain Fantastic' is a concept album that gives an autobiographical glimpse at the struggles John (Captain Fantastic) and Taupin (the Brown Dirt Cowboy) had in the early years of their musical careers in London. •• #eltonjohn #thisdayinmusic #1970s #album #bernietaupin

VIBRATIONAL FREQUENCY LIST In 1992, Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology, an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, built the first frequency monitor in the world. Tainio has determined that the average frequency of the human body during the daytime is 62-68 Hz. A healthy body frequency is 62-72 Hz . When the frequency drops, the immune system is compromised http://justalist.blogspot.com.au/2008/03/vibrational-frequency-list.html
