We didn't completely follow our menu last week because I was sick. I'm so grateful we had food in our freezer -- it was a huge blessing when I didn't feel like cooking. I'm finally on the mend and feeling more like myself again (thank you, God!). It has been SO hot here -- we had a record of 111 degrees on Sunday! -- so I'm not doing much cooking or baking in order to keep the house cooler. In fact, I'm hoping to only turn on the oven once or twice this week. Otherwise, we're using the crock pot, grill, microwave, or eating something that doesn't need to be heated.
