Charles Edward Stuart "Bonnie Prince Charlie" The second Jacobite pretender to the thrones of England, Scotland and Ireland (aka The Young Pretender). He was the eldest son of James Francis Edward Stuart. In 1745, he led the Jacobite rising know as The 'Forty-Five.
Carved stone ball, Towie, Aberdeenshire, 3200–2500 BC. Nearly all have been found in north-east Scotland, the majority in Aberdeenshire, the fertile land lying to the east of the Grampian Mountains. A similar distribution to that of Pictish symbols led to the early suggestion that Carved Stone Balls are Pictish artefacts. No one really knows what they were for, but they are at least very pretty!
