How to move hostas... this gardener recommends tying & taping the plant with rope & masking tape. Then after plant is dug up, drop it back into the hole 2 times to remove big clumps of dirt; then watering it in it's new hole and THEN backfilling with dirt & watering AGAIN. I will have to try this.

Hosta "August Moon" has deeply veined, heart-shaped leaves. This vigorous grower typically reaches 20 to 24 inches tall and 36 to 42 inches wide. Their yellow luminescent leaves glow at dusk & at dawn as well as on rainy or overcast days. Good for brightening up dark corners of the garden.
