The Help by Kathryn Stockett is one of my favorite books from all time. And it has been made into an equally wonderful movie.

The Help, Kathryn Stockett. Oprah's Book Club recommended it a while back. The movie has Emma Stone. I think I'm picking this up after I'm done reading George RR Martin.

My Name Is Memory is a novel centered around Daniel, and Sophia, the girl he has spent lifetimes searching for, as he races against time to spur her lost memories of him before his vengeful, centuries-old brother Joaquim finds them.

The movie is sweet... but the book truly makes the story. Please, please, please... if you liked the movie even a little bit, you need to read this novel. I made my mama listen to it, since she hates to read.
