Gorgeous Quilting! I love that each zig zag the feathers go a different way..

you need 50 squares of the white background, 20 squares of grey, 10 squares each of orange, yellow and mid-yellow prints. It works best if each square is a different print. For the large original quilt, I started with 10-inch squares, the middle one uses 8-inch squares and the small one 6-inch squares. Each block ends up an inch shorted due to the seams. I hope this helps !

I used to just notice the design of the quilt until I started machine quilting. Now I notice the quilting too. Both are pretty in this one!
