Smokey Local Ice 1½ ounces whiskey, preferably Russell's Reserve 6-Year-Old Rye ¾ ounce manzanilla sherry ½ ounce Sangue Morlacco Luxardo ½ ounce Scotch, preferably Ardbeg 10-Year-Old Lemon peel In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the whiskey, sherry, Luxardo and Scotch. Stir. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the lemon peel. Serve.

WICKED KISS: In a mixing glass 3/4 full of cracked ice, add 1 oz rye whiskey (100 proof if possible), 1 oz applejack (100 proof if possible), 1/4 oz yellow chartreuse, 1/4 oz Benedictine, and a dash of Angostura bitters. Stir well, strain into a chilled cocktail glass. CHEERS!
Rye witch 1 1/2 c rye whiskey (such Wild Turkey) 3 tablespoons Strega (herbal liqueur) 3 T Amontillado Sherry (such as Lustau or González Byass Del Duque) 2 T Simple Syrup 12 dashes orange bitters 12 orange twists Preparation Combine first 5 ingredients in a large pitcher. Add ice; stir for 15–20 seconds. Strain the mixture into 6 glasses. Pinch an orange twist over each drink, then rub around rims of glasses to release oils from peel; discard peel. Garnish each with a fresh twist.
