June 16-they always say "there's no place like home" and I was really hoping that would be in Timmy's favor. It didn't start off looking good, though, when the Mariners scored 2 solo HRs in the 1st. The GIANTS rallied in the 3rd and 4th, and Timmy pitched like the Timmy of old in innings 2, 3, and 4. The Mariners staged a comeback in the 5th and 6th and the GIANTS gave up 5 more runs. Final score: Seattle 7, GIANTS 4.

June 25-the GIANTS were at home tonight and the fans greeted them with the constant chant "Beat LA"! So they did. Zito pitched 7 shut out innings and the GIANTS scored 4 runs in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd and another in the 5th. Pablo had some great hits tonight, along with Blanco, Theriot, Melky, Pagan and Sanchez. The bullpen finished up the game without allowing a Dodger to score. Great game! Final score: GIANTS 8, Dodgers 0.

Thursday, March 29-Matt Cain pitched a good game against the Rangers, even though 2 batters managed to hit home runs in the 2nd inning, the rest of the game belonged to the GIANTS, beating Texas 6-2.

June 28-HISTORY! The GIANTS took on the Big Red Machine tonight in the 1st of 4. For the 1st time in GIANTS franchise history, the GIANTS pitched 4 shutout games in a row. Mad Bum pitched a complete game and scored a run to boot. The Reds managed only 1 hit off him. Final score: GIANTS 5, Reds 0.

Sept 7-the GIANTS open the series against the Dodgers at home. The bad news? Timmy got a "no decision". The good news? The GIANTS got the win. Started off a little scary with the Dodgers posting the 1st run on the board, then the GIANTS tied it up, the Dodgers scored again, and the GIANTS tied it up again. The GIANTS took the lead in the 7th, tacked on another run in the 8th and held on. Final score: GIANTS 5, Dodgers 2.

The 2012 World Series Flag is raised during a special #SFGiants Opening Day Ceremony (April 5, 2013)

Labor Day-and the GIANTS play the D-Backs at home. The GIANTS jumped off to a great start, scoring 4 runs in the 1st. Zito was pitching a great game. Then the GIANTS' bats went silent and Zito went south. Arizona scored, tied, then pulled ahead. But the GIANTS woke up again in the 8th and 9th, and Scutaro walked off a hero. Final score: GIANTS 9, Arizona 8.

June 10-oops! They did it again! SHUTOUT by the Texas Rangers, so Texas takes the series. Timmy is still struggling and the GIANTS' bats struggled right along with him today. Final score: Texas 5, GIANTS 0.

June 22-the GIANTS are back in the bay, playing across the bridge tonight in Oakland. Things started off pretty shaky for Timmy, with the A's scoring 3 runs in the 1st. But Timmy and the GIANTS settled in and held Oakland at 3 until the 9th. GIANTS scored 1 run in the 3rd, but the bats came alive in the 9th. Oakland's Josh Reddick hit a HR in the bottom of the 9th, but that's all Casilla gave up. Final score: GIANTS 5, A's 4.

Oct 22-the deciding game of the NLCS, winner takes the pennant. Lucky for the GIANTS, it was a beautiful night to play ball in San Francisco. GIANTS perfect pitcher, Matt Cain, pitched 5 2/3 shutout innings on a night when every GIANT in the starting line-up got a hit. Final score: GIANTS 9, St. Louis 0. AND THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!! THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!!

May 20-the GIANTS start was looking pretty good right up until the top of the 4th. GIANTS had a 2-0 lead when Timmy and the defense allowed runners to get on base, and even worse, to score. But the scary part was the collision at the plate between Lincecum and Cowgill. It was reminiscent of the Cousins/Posey crash from last May. Luckily Timmy shook it off and finished the inning, but he left the game after that. A's went on to score 2 more runs in another inning. Final score: A's 6, GIANTS 2,
