Location idea: His friend Garret could live in a tent inside his house. Have to be careful that it doesn't feel too Wes Anderson. I want to the production design to feel a bit weird and off, not too cute or too twee.

This is very 'Tiny House'! Could be the bed nook! Love this tucked-in reading nook with its offering of many books within an arm's reach.

The tree is cheap, brown tissue paper glued to the wall using Elmer's school glue. The shelves are melamine from Ikea sprayedbrown using Krylon plastic paint. The leaves are cut from a Junie B. Jones book. The cocoon is from Ikea as well.

A floor bed?! So cool. Kind of like having a grown-up slumber party, every day. If there was a bookcase hidden on the other side of that wall, I could spend all day here.
