Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sandwiches--- We use the hawaiian rolls, put the ham and swiss (or roast beef and cheddar or turkey and provolone) on the rolls, then put the tops on. Melt 1 stick butter, 2 tbls worchestire, 1 tsp. dijon mustard, and 1 tsp onion salt. Mix together then pour over sandwiches and bake. I put them in a 9x13. The butter makes the bread like toasted cheese - they are huge hits.

Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sandwiches "These things are like crack, be careful or you could end up eating a pan of sandwiches" - says one pinner and I agree! I used half the amount of mustard and poppy seeds and a little less Worcestershire sauce than the recipe calls for. I used enough cheese to cover the ham, so used a little less than the recipe indicated.

(These used to be very popular for little parties in the 1960s. I think we used Pepperidge Farm rolls then.... any small soft roll would work. I had forgotten this little recipe.): Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sandwiches. Pinner says: "These things are like crack, be careful or you could end up eating a pan of sandwiches"

Hawaiian Sweet Roll Ham Sandwiches - I made with Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, but they were hard to cut when they were baked. Then I made them with dinner rolls. You can fit 24 in an 11"x15" jelly roll pan. Put bottoms of rolls in pan first. When I made the onion mixture, I added 1/4 c brown sugar to make up for loss of sweetness from not using Hawaiian rolls. Top each bun with ham and cheese so when they are baked each sandwich can just be lifted out.I used Grey Poupon creamy and mild Dijon and used less onion. I made 6 dozen rolls and used 2 medium-large onions. I multiplied all other ingredients by 5 for the 6 dozen buns.
