Francis Channing Barlow - The monument to Brigadier General Francis Barlow is north of Gettysburg on Barlow's Knoll, off Howard Avenue.

This fired bullet was found on farmland adjoining the Gettysburg National Military Park just north of Barlow's Knoll by a well known Gettysburg relic hunter about ten years ago. Barlow's Knoll was the position held by the XI Corps on the extreme right of the Union Line on July 1st. The position was eventually overwhelmed by the attack of Jubal Early's Division and its collapse forced the entire Union line to withdraw.
