Homemade butter finger candies. [ Gluten-free ] ____ Ingredients - 1 cup smooth peanut butter - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - ¼ teaspoon salt (kosher, fleur de sel, Maldon) - ½ vanilla bean, seeds removed (optional) - 1 cup sugar - ⅓ cup light corn syrup - ½ cup water - ¾ cup chopped bittersweet chocolate (chocolate chips are fine too)

Homemade Butterfinger. I used dark chocolate to cover mine. #justsayin I was really worried that I had burned the candy corn. I vote taking the 30 second bursts down to 15 after the first minute of 30 seconds. The candy will harden which is nice, however at the final stage it isn't as crunchy as a real butterfinger. Despite this I think they turned out to be delicious.
