vacation = a solo grocery trip

i never thought grocery shopping would be a vacation but, alone, it is! I remember those days however I really don't like visiting the grocery store

Oh so true. You have a tiny baby that exhausts you, then you turn around and have a teenager learning to drive and you wonder where all the time went and what happened to that little baby.

Parenting: the days are long but the years are short. - Anonymous Too short.

Only for my kids bc that's true love in my book for anyone who knows me..LOL

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie. ~Tenneva Jordan~ so true!

This is so true for me. Especially the last few weeks.

Did you know what the cost of being a mom is? Tina Fey said it best when she explained, Being a mom has made me so tired. And so happy. We couldnt have described parenting better ourselves.

Things our mothers taught us…

Haha, I remember some of these from when I was a kid :) Love you mom! Haha, I remember some of these from when I was a kid :) Love you mom! Haha, I remember some of these from when I was a kid :) Love you mom!

Alyssa, my precious treasure

Lol I love my mom she my mom by chance and my best friend by choice. I will always let her into my life my feelings and love even if she's my stalker I love you tons mom you are amazing! I love you!

“Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.” –Elizabeth Stone I woke up this morning with this quote on my mind and just wanted to share it with you.

Yep, a sense of humor is a necessity. The only thing that keeps me sane some days!

Parenting without a sense of humor is like being an accountant who sucks at math. In that accountant but not that parent.

Family quote - You will never have this day with your children again. Today is a gift. Breathe and notice. Study their little faces and feet. Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today mama, it will be gone before you know it.

And even harder when one parent never had to take responsibility and learned that it was always someone else's fault.

Children need to learn to take responsibility for their actions so that they do not become adults believing that nothing is ever their fault.

This has been in the back of my mind so much since Lexus started HS :( I don't want to ever get to the day when my babies aren't with me!

Something everyone needs to remember on opening day!!!

Baseball sign for kids. Totally makes me tear up.wish more parents would remember this and truly enjoy the FUN of the sport! Not the pressure of winning. WILL remember/use this when my son plays sports one day.

I think that could also be changed a little bit....If a MOM asks you a question.......;)

I don't. If I ask you a question, it's better to tell me the truth because I don't freaking know the answer! If I know, why would I bother! But yea, this applies to women in general. Either way, just answer the freaking question! Hehehe :Pp

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorow, for babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow. So settle down cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep.
