Need to learn: Quilt-As-You-Go-blocks to batting.and then add backing, quilting only in the ditch between blocks.it lets the quilting inside the blocks be creative, but you'r not dealing with the whole quilt and the back is just squares.
Catherine explains: "To keep the quilting lines straight and even, use blue painter's masking tape to mark line guides. You can reuse several times before replacing. And then the stupid guide bar won't keep snagging the quilt.
