Snowflakes made from the bottom of plastic bottles - would be so pretty hanging in the front window
Crystal Snowflakes overnightout of Borax 1. Form your pipe cleaners into a snowflake shape or whatever shape you desire, while you boil water. 2. Add water to your mason jars. 3. Mix in borax. Stir it but don't worry if it isn't completely dissolved. 4. Attach your pipe cleaner shape to the string and hang it from the pen/pencil while submerging it in your jar. Leave overnight.
Why didn't I think of this? Use a Low Temperature Hot Glue Gun to Make Snowflakes on your Windows! If you are afraid that they will be hard to remove, you could always spray pam on a cookie sheet, make the designs on there and then just adhere them to the windows afterwards. That way they're reusable too!
