    Adjectives and then take a picture for the hall is what I would do to launch a core lesson.

    Personalized class stationery. Give each child a post-it and have them draw their picture on it. Such a good way to get them to want to write

It allows you to let kids scan out the books and check out and check in them, separate them by reading levels and even put down their location in your class room. Did I mention it's FREE!?!?

    Chalk Talk - write a topic in the middle and have students comment around it. They cannot talk, only write! They go up twice. First they write something original, then they comment on it
