    Oak rain barrel -- I completely forgot that wine barrels are liquid tight! Duh. Why is this better than a plastic rain barrel? 1. It WAY cooler looking. 2. It will biodegrade & won't last 1,000 years. 3. It won't leach potentially harmful chemicals into my vegetables & soil. <3

    "Oak Rain Barrel" Didn't think about these being liquid-tight until I came across the OP's pin. I prefer the look of these to plastic ones, and it would make Alex so happy to see them. (He has a thing for oak barrels.)
